2014 is coming

With summer 2014 coming fast I thought its time to get cracking and get a few bits tweaked and fettled ready for some action through 2014. 

Diff swapping

After braking the diff at Santa pod it's finally time to get dirty and fix the old girl 

I called upon a few other MNR builders to help speed the job up :) many thanks to Justin and Eddie for there help :) 

I've decided to go for a 3.38 diff now as I felt the car was over geared with the original 3.14 however I will get the old diff fixed so I always have the option to swap it .

Aparantly tge difference in top speed is 9 mph 

And rpm at 70 mph is now 6000 instead of the 3.14 at 5500 @ 70 previously .

Ill have to wait and see how it drives before I pass judgement.

New garrage :)

At long last we've finally found a suitable house near our parents and closer to friends. After previously living 30 mins away were now back living where we both grew up :) and more important I get a bigger garrage :) 

Stoneleigh 2013

Well that's stoneleigh done Mann it was pretty hectic getting all the parts on ready for the show :) I now no how all these f1 teams feel rushing to bring updates to every race...

Stoneleigh was a really busy show particularly for MNR having sold lots if cars at the show. 

Plenty of BBQ and beer was consumed by everyone and we even managed a proper lock in till 1am in the bar !!

I really enjoyed the show travelling there in the vortx and home as well she ran beautiful all weekend ...

New parts for 2013

New polished parts have been done by a good friend of mine called Bim he runs a polishing company called pugz polishing he has a page on face book if anyone needs to contact him.

Also had the front wishbones re powder coated as they were starting to rust from stone chips ! They was done by nw coatings in Newark...
